A collaborative visual art exhibition entitled Tugu|Ugut by artist Ajim Juxta showcases over 60 artworks comprising text, drawings, paintings and sculptures that aims to question and to relate the world around us.

Other collaborators are Titikmerah Collective, artists Syahbandi Samat and The Sliz, NomoonNofrens printmaking collective, Shamin Sahrum founder of No-to-Scale Studio, poet Afi Noor, writer and ethnographer Xeem Noor and Artemis Art Gallery.

"Ajim’s visual representation stems from his background in architecture, which fundamentally makes him question our motivations and practise of building onto this world, and onto ourselves. We thought that PAM would be a space to assist in expanding his works and critique," says Sharmin Parameswaran, a curator-collaborator who has worked with Ajim over the years.

The work sizes range from 15cm by 30cm to 183cm by 152cm and are priced from RM300 to RM15,000.

Opening reception will be held on Nov 17 from 5pm -8pm.
