Poesy's World

Poesy's World is a solo exhibition by Malaysian artist Poesy Liang.

The exhibition will feature 54 selected works from several ongoing series, such as the well known Rooftop Cats and Cupcake Cats. They range in size from 10cm by 10cm to 160cm by 160cm and are priced from RM420 to RM16,600.

It is said that, for Liang, art is a means towards fulfilling a greater humanitarian purpose. Among the initiatives she has started include the Helping Angels, a grassroots movement which began in 2007 and the Bald Empathy Movement, an interdisciplinary initiative that involved music composition, photography, and the White Cartoon Sidewalk Series (WCSS), which was done on sidewalks across Europe.

The opening reception is on Nov 18 at 3pm.
