Kopi Susu, A Journey Through 80 Photographs is a solo exhibition by Soraya Yusof Talismail.
Supported by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the exhibition comprises a total of 80 silver gelatin prints. The sizes are 41cm by 31cm and they are priced at RM5,000 each.
Alongside the prints - which are from Khazanah’s collection - large wall prints as well as free-hanging images on acrylic panels will be exhibited.
Three “rooms” will be constructed in the gallery that will project large images with light and sound. One of which will hold an “audio visual show [projecting] all 80 images.”
The exhibition will be officiated by Sultan Nazrin Shah of Perak on Aug 4 at 10.30am. This coincides with the launch of a book on the exhibition.
The exhibition is curated by Ariff Awaluddin and there will be a walkthrough by Soraya and the curator.
