Deeper in Still Life is the title of Thai artist, Phattharakorn Sing Tong’s latest exhibition.
It is said that Phattharakorn “searches for veracity permeated around him” by using drawing as a method of study.
A text on the gallery’s website quotes Phattharakorn, “Twenty years ago I drew by studying figures, shapes, weights, lights and shadows, compositions, stories, and meanings. Ten years ago I drew by studying emotions, feelings, questioning, and searching for meaning of life. Two years ago until now, I [began] drawing to learn, to understand myself and nature by true veracity.”
The show opens on June 2 at 6pm.
