• Born in a kampung in Klang, he has set out to capture detailed images of fishing villages, kampung sceneries, heritage shop houses in small towns and stalls in Penang
• Feels a sense of responsibility to document and idolize fleeting structures and ways of life for future generations
• Explores Malaysian culture and traditions through the depiction of fishing boats, rural life, local flora and fauna as well as other indigenous aesthetics
• One of the founding members of the Malaysian Watercolour Organisation
• Honorary Secretary of the Negeri Sembilan Art Society
