  • Started his career as an artist cum art teacher in primary and secondary schools in the late 50’s and early 60’s before he traveled as a visiting artist to USA under a Fulbright Grant during the mid 60’s
  • Influenced by Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, Hardedge, Conceptualism and other international movements during his stay in New York in the 1960’s and early 80’s
  • Has gone through the aesthetic assimilation and preservation process during his artistic journey and at the same time engaged himself in significant exploration and integration of these experiences into his own art
  • Art reflects his ceaseless probes into culture and history, theory and practice, humanity and matters, techniques and media
  • Possessed the intellectual spirit of the present era and beyond and used it to probe into his cultural surroundings, integrated and synthesized, to define new meanings and values in his creative endeavours
