Pancaroba is a post-residency exhibition by Sofia Haron and Tomi Heri.
The title is said to be a word of Sanskrit origins, loosely translated to mean “five changes”.
According to a press release, Tomi’s works attempt to recollect "visuals" that were most memorable from Kuala Lumpur and Jogjakarta. His multi-layered spray-paint works are said to resemble a storyboard of experiences and interactions.
Sofia’s figurative paintings are said to be guided by her emotions. Depicting her dreams in vivid colours, the artist attempts to find their meaning and to overcome emotional changes.
The works range in size from 21cm by 21cm to 214cm by 214cm and are priced from RM200 to RM6,500.
The opening reception is on April 7 at 3pm.
